Upright Quick Response Sprinkler, Brass Finish, 68’C frangible glass bulb automatic sprinklers that are CE, VdS and LPCB approved. They are standard orifice fire sprinklers for installation in fire sprinkler systems designed in accordance with standard installation rules, e.g. EN12845 or the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction.
SSU Upright sprinklers produce a hemispherical water distribution pattern below the deflector. In the instance of fire, the heat causes the fluid in the glass bulb to expand which shatters the glass and releases the spring seal assembly. ALARM CHECK VALVE GROOVE / FLANGED
Fireguard Alarm Check valve is a doubled seated clapper check valve with grooved seat design
which ensures positive water flow for alarm operation and is designed for installation in wet pipe
sprinkler system. External bypass prevents false alarm under all supply pressure condition.
In the event of variable pressure condition, false alarm is prevented with the provision of retard
chamber, thus the design allows for isntallation under both variable and constant supply pressure
condition. Operation of one or more automatic fire sprinklers causes the water to flow into the sprinkler
system causing th alarm valve to open, allowing continuous flow of water into the system and transmittal
of alarm, both electrical and mechanical.
