Fire blankets are designed and manufactured to the BS EN 1869:1997 standards. They
are fully tested by BSI and certified to Kite mark.
Fire Blankets when draped over a fire, the blanket cuts out the oxygen, leading to
rapid fire extinction.
They are available in three different size of 1.1m x1.1m,
1.2mx1.2m and 1.2mx1.8m and other sizes are available upon
request. The containers are simple to use with pull tabs to
release the blanket.
Fire blankets have been reserved for chip pan fires but fire
safety professionals are increasing recognising the ability of a
fire blanket for other areas.
Fire blankets are suitable for Class F-cooking oils or fats
